The 2011 Canadian Grand Prix, formally known as the Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada 2011, was a Formula One motor racing competition held on 12th June 2011 at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal, Canada.
The race marked the seventh round of the 2011 Formula One season and was the 47th Canadian Grand Prix to be held as part of the Formula One World Championship.
The race was won by Jenson Button, driving for McLaren-Mercedes, who crossed the finish line with a lead of over 1.6 seconds over Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull Racing.
Lewis Hamilton, also driving for McLaren-Mercedes, completed the podium with a third-place finish.
